We invite Ulema and Students of Knowledge to two morning sessions

Aug 4: God, Logic, and the Madrasa

Our mind is a gift from God.
Its purpose is to discover God, the truth of Islam, to learn the classical Islamic sciences, and to apply them to the modern world.

Join us to learn about the intellectual history of the science of logic (it began with God’s prophets and messengers, not with Aristotle!), the epistemology of the Muslim scholarly tradition, and how all of the classical Islamic sciences are organized according to the science of logic

Aug 5: Science, Logic, and the Kalam Cosmological Argument

Science is great.
It’s materialism that’s the problem, not science. Islamic logic has an advanced epistemology that enables us to integrate scientific reasoning into the Muslim scholarly tradition.

Join us to learn about deductive vs. inductive reasoning, why science can sometimes give us certainty, and how we can use that today to prove the existence of God and the miraculousness of the Quran.

Time for each session: 8:30 am – 12:30 pm
Venue: Waterloo Road Masjid, Kenwyn

Evening Sessions for Parents & Teachers
