Respected Ulama and Students of Din,

As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu

The recitation of hadith has long been a cherished and revered practice among Islamic scholars, serving as a source of divine blessings and inspiration. In these challenging times for our ummah, it is essential to revive such traditions as a means of seeking Allah’s mercy and assistance.

In this regard, we invite you to a special hadith recital gathering this Sunday, the 6th of October. We will be reading The Forty Hadiths of al-Quds, an Arabic work authored by Shaykh Dr Ra’id Fathi graciously translated into English by The Kūrānī Institute, thereby making it accessible to a wider audience.

This blessed gathering will serve, in sha Allah, as a tribute to the steadfastness and perseverance of the Palestinian people, honouring their courage and resistance. It is also an opportunity for us to collectively seek Allah’s help, not only for them but for the entire ummah as we face ongoing struggles and challenges.

This program is being organized in partnership with UUCSA, the MJC, the Al-Quds Foundation South Africa (AQFSA), the Palestine Information Network (PIN), South African Women United for Gaza (SAWUG), and The Kūrānī Institute.

We strongly encourage you to inspire your communities to attend with friends and family and benefit from this blessed event.

Jazakumullahu khayran.
